Motorola Sale 100.000 Droid in the U.S. in first weekend
One weekend a bit ‘under the expectations for the launch of the Motorola Droid, the new home of the winged smartphone operating system Andorid 2.0. In light of 200,000 units in stores, the first weekend of sales 100,000 units were sold with the Verizon operator who took care of their exclusivity.
The figure compares with the one million iPhone sold the first two days after rival AT & T. Some point the finger at the design, not very attractive or at least not as much as the phone Apple. Motorola said it plans to sell 1 million Droid by the end of 2009 and 10 million by the end of 2010.
